Cut File Creation & Outlines
In this hands-on class, students will learn how to create precise, production-ready cut outlines for UV printing and laser cutting. The session covers how to organize artwork into layers, use offset paths for shape accuracy, and apply the “CutContour” spot color recognized by cutting software.
Through step-by-step demonstrations, participants will create organized files with artwork, cut lines, and registration marks—ready for seamless alignment and consistent results. The class also explores multi-up layouts for efficient sheet production and exporting files for print, laser, or hybrid workflows.
By the end of the session, students will be able to confidently design and export clean, scalable cut files that ensure perfect precision and repeatability in real production environments.
